Bibliotherapy & Florals

It's been 3 days since my latest injury, I had to go to the hospital for x-rays of my neck. I'm currently resting but not comfortably and I have pain in my neck, shoulders, legs, and feet. Neck and shoulders from the accident and legs and feet from the adventures last week.

Here's a few happy moments from Friday before the accident: my poetry collection from the library, nature photography adventure, and florals from the museum. Then two selfies from Friday.

It wasn't the birthday weekend off Kirk was expecting. We weren't able to go to the dance party, enjoy the market or the music events as planned. Friday was lovely until shortly after six o'clock when we were in a minor car accident. When we left the hospital after one in the morning, we finally went out for birthday dinner. We watched Doctor Who and discussed how we had to pause our weekend and it was unpaused around 2 a.m. Saturday. We didn't sleep until the sun was beginning to rise, we slept instead of going to the markets. We managed to attend an open house for a potential apartment prospect. I loved the retro apartment, it has the prettiest vintage art deco in their elevator design. I'm dreaming of boho vibes and green space(s) if we get it.
