Mallory's semicolon butterfly

In 2021, I wrote a list of tattoo that I wanted to get done. One of those tattoos was a butterfly semicolon.

When I booked my appointment with Mikaela for this tattoo, it was a different butterfly all together than the one I got done. This design was chosen because I wanted to call attention to colors that each represent my chronic illness and my mental health struggles and that the butterfly is incomplete in a way (the wings do not touch/close).

Last month, Mikaela touched up the ink and I love how bold & bright my butterfly is now
