Bellabeat

In 2018, I participated in walking challenges because I needed motivation to get out of bed. I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in November 2017, I was very depressed and spent most of my days sleeping away the sadness and pain.

At first, I was tracking my step counts just on my smartphone but it became apparent that it was not 100% accurate so I started to look into Fitbit but I was not a fan of the look of the smart watch. I found Bellabeat Smart Jewelry. I was drawn to the elegant wooden smart jewelry; Leaf Nature (in Rose Gold) is made with African Blackwood and the versatility to be worn as a bracelet, a clip, or a necklace. The model I wear, Leaf Nature is discontinued. Urban Leaf is still available on Bellabeat's website.

Yesterday was my follow up with my psychiatrist to review my prescriptions. For five weeks, I've been taking something for my depression and something for my c-PTSD. We discussed how my mood has been the lowest since I started tracking my mood with Daylio. The doctor adjusted the dosage of the medication for mood. Then we discussed my sleep and my inconsistent sleep pattern. He prescribed a sleep medication.

I am happy to report that I slept a full eight hours last night with this prescription, I hope to see similar results tonight and every night... and that's why I am writing about my Bellabeat. I have been without my bracelet for nearly a year. I wanted to be able to have a better look at data and be able to share with the data with the psychiatrist. Bellabeat's accuracy is 94% - last night's figures seem to be accurate. I took my medication at 11:30 p.m. then I cuddled and talked with Kirk until I drifted off to sleep. I woke up on my own at 8:30 a.m.

I love that you can personalize your Leaf by naming it. I chose Coralie because it's a French feminine name meaning coral, which is my favorite color.
