I made it through the first week of semester three of Office Administration at Canadore College (13 more to go!). It was great to see my professor, Charmaine, again. She starts the class with a punny joke, I love her sense of humour.
My courses this semester are Human Relations: Group Dynamics; Computerized Bookkeeping; Office Procedures III; Medical Billing; Office Simulation; and we complete the program with a two week Field Placement Simulation (60 hours). I already got my credits for the other two courses, OAD216 and CMM230, so my schedule is slightly "easier" for me at this time. The schedule is different in this semester versus other semesters, as certain classes end, another class gets added into the schedule. Right now, I have three classes while my classmates in OAD would have five classes.
I'm very grateful that I have this opportunity to redeem myself, learn from my breakdown last spring, grow, learn, and earn my first college diploma.

In spring 2022, I was diagnosed with chronic depression, c-PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder. Everyday was yesterday in my mind & in the flashbacks I was routinely suffering through. Three months after my second suicide attempt, I moved to a new community to begin my healing journey.
is an homage to my favorite childhood book series, Martine. I love the symbolism of the hot air balloon that I, Mallory, am navigating life with chronic illness while on a healing journey.
